The Cast also includes: Curtis Caravaggio, Jacob Vargas, Bree Williamson, Tyler Hoechlin, who plays John Stonebridge, a former Marine from Afghanistan to Louisiana; Danielle Campbell playing Annie Chambers – Luke’s sister; Britt McKillip will play Samantha Slattery- Jack’s granddaughter and Susan Gibney return for her third season on the show.

What can we expect in Virgin River Season Three?

According to TV Line’s description of what is going down in this new installment, it sounds like the town has some big plans with their biggest competitor being bought out by an international company which might make things difficult for them economically or socially.

The new season will also continue the story of Jack’s daughter Samantha kidnapped and tortured in Afghanistan, but when she returns to Virgin River, her old wounds are reopened. There is also a storyline involving Annie Chambers (Danielle Campbell) as she struggles with being pregnant after an assault years ago, which resulted in severe physical scars that made it difficult for her to feel comfortable naked or intimate with anyone- until John enters into her life and gives her hope again(John Stonebridge).

Luckily for fans, Season 3 of “Virgin River” is arriving much faster than Season 2. While it was a whole year between Seasons 1 and 2, Netflix could get into production on Season 3 not long after finishing up Season 2. According to reports from What’s on Netflix in July 2020, “Virgin River” Season 2 was originally slated to premiere last summer but was delayed for some reason. But along with that, it appeared that Netflix gave the team behind “Virgin River” the go-ahead to get started on the third season months before Season 2 premiered on the renewal was officially announced, with Season 3 possibly starting production last August.

What’s coming up in Season Three?

In addition to all of these familiar faces returning, many other details about “Virgin River” Season Three have been revealed – including what could be one of its most dramatic moments yet! According to reports from What’s on Netflix in July 2020, while there has not been an announcement about how long “Virgin River” will last or if it was renewed for more than two seasons like before (that we know of, at least!), there are speculations that one major character will be killed off this season.
