One of the most popular Nickelodeon shows, iCarly, has made a comeback! After months of speculation and rumours, Paramount Plus’ “iCarly Revival” finally got its first teaser trailer. We’re so excited to see what’s in store for our favourite characters after all these years. Keep reading to find out everything we know about this new show so far – including plot details, cast members, and spoilers!

“iCarly Reboot” Premiere Date:

It’s official; the iCarly reboot will premiere on Paramount+ on June 17th. Miranda Cosgrove and the rest of the cast revealed the news in honour of Miranda’s birthday.

All 13 episodes of the series will air on the platform, picking up 10 years after the original show ended and will follow “Carly Shay, the original influencer, and her friends navigating work, love and family in their twenties,” according to the press release.

Plot:

The early Revival will be a continuation of the original series. So, it’ll pick up from where we left off with all our favourite characters and their relationships – Miranda is married to Spencer, Carly has been living in New York City for the past six years, but she’s coming back home soon, while Sam still lives in Seattle. There are some new faces too! But don’t worry – Gibby won’t be making an appearance (that would just be weird!).

In the new iCarly, Freddie will be a tech-savvy teenager who builds his own gigabyte network on top of Carly’s company. Spencer Shay presents himself as an investor in Carly’s business and attempts to take her down from within while she is trying to make it big with one final hurrah before college! This won’t come easy for Carly or Sam when they have Gibby keeping them grounded at school; adding Marti & Angus, two kids who are just like Marty McFly (they even dress like him!), into the mix!!! The show doesn’t air until 2021, but we’re already excited about this update!
