Plot Synopsis:

According to season 1 of Stargirl, we first meet Stargirl at her high school in Arizona. It’s not long before we realize that this is a very different kind of superhero story, one that explores the mundane origins of an extraordinary character and the way she breaks free from convention to be true to herself.

The show will explore how Stargirl changes those around her as they challenge society’s definitions of what makes a hero.

“Stargirl,” based on Jerry Spinelli’s best-selling novel about love, loss, and identity for young adults, was developed by Rob Reiner (Director) & Emmy Award winner Karey Burke (Executive Producer). The series tells the incredible adventures of Courtney “Stargirl” Carrington. She travels through time with her best friend Leo Denton, her classmate and crushes David “Stringbean” Kermani, and their robot companion Starie.
