Sackoff is set to appear in the sequel series, which IMDb has JayR Tinaco and Elizabeth Ludlow scheduled.

On June 23, 2020, Tongayi Chirisa was cast as a series regular, and Dillon Casey and Shannon Chan-Kent were cast in recurring roles for the second season of Another Life. In December 2020, Carlena Britch was announced to have been cast as Paula Carbone.

Another Life Season 2 Plot Synopsis:

The plot of the second season is still unknown, but it will be picking up from where we left off in Season One. This means that Ben and Christina may or not find out they’re biological siblings, which could have implications for their romantic relationship as well. It’s likely also to explore some deep-seated family drama issues with the Carbone clan, not only between Paula and her mother (who she believed was dead) but also within the issue of how an aging parent feels about handing over guardianship to a child who has grown close to adulthood while dealing with mental illness at home.
