Central Park Season Two Premieres March 16th at 11 PM ET/PT on NBC For those that missed it the first time around or just need another fix, this year’s new batch includes 13 episodes as opposed to last year’s ten. It starts with David (Josh Charles) still recovering from his coma-induced amnesia following the events of central park season one, so what does he do? He goes after Ramona (Annie Parisse), and the story unfolds from there.

Central Park Season Two Ratings:

The ratings for Central Park are not too shabby, with an average of around two million viewers tuning in each episode across all channels NBC TV network + all other networks that air it, which is a definite improvement on last year’s season one numbers by about 800 thousand people. It’s also been picked up to be carried over into next year as well – so more episodes are coming your way!

Reviews:

Reviews have been mixed, but critics seem generally positive toward this second series, with Entertainment Weekly calling it “a worthy continuation” while Variety called it “slicker than ever.”

Storyline:

Season two of Central Park picks up where season one left off with Ramona (Annie Parisse), and the story unfolds from there. With a new case, fresh faces, and some old ones returning, we see how this group of lawyers fight it out in the courtroom to prove their clients innocent while also trying to save themselves.

It is set at one fictional law firm in New York City called Sterling Cooper & Associates that has been around since 1927, when it was established by Roger Sterling Sr., long before he founded his own company on Madison Avenue.

The show follows three sets of partners – corporate litigator Bobby Donnell (Dennis Quaid), personal injury attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), and criminal defense attorneys Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams).

Surprisingly, the show’s ratings are not as high as expected. The premiere episode only brought in a little over five million viewers for its first showing alone, which is less than what they had anticipated. But it still managed to pull in around 11 million total viewers by the end of that week, with all three airings combined.

The second season premieres on September 25th at nine pm EST time slot but has been met with mixed reviews from critics so far, some praising it while others felt like there was too much going on for this specific type of show – creating an overwhelming feeling instead of being able to focus specifically on one case or character.

Still, most agree it’s worth tuning in for the first few episodes to see if it will continue to pick up traction.

Is there a trailer for Central Park season 2?

While there is no official trailer for season 2, we did receive a little preview of what’s to come. Apple TV+ released a video on its YouTube channel featuring a new number, “Weehawken Rap,” which will likely feature in the next season.

“Weehawken Rap” is a tribute to the hometown of Central Park’s Helen, the abused and unhappy assistant to Bitsy. The scene shows Helen and Bitsy stuck in traffic, presumably within the New Jersey city, as Helen drops the beat to tell her employer: “I’m from this city, so please watch how you’re talkin’; It’s home to me, I love this town, let me tell you about Weehawken.” Helen goes on to describe her love of the city and its charms, as well as a few of its flaws.

Daveed Diggs plays Helen and performs the number with his trademark speed and eloquence, as was seen in his dual roles in the hit musical Hamilton. There’s even a reference to the site where Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton in that very town. Fans will likely get to hear the “Weehawken Rap” and other new musical numbers when new episodes of Central Park’s second season begin this summer.
