Jackass 4 is an upcoming American comedy film directed by Jeff Tremaine and written by Tremaine, Spike Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville. It is the fourth film in the Jackass franchise. The film stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey, and Dave England.

Plot Synopsis:

Jackass 4 is another expression of the privilege of adult men risking their lives and health to perform crazy stunts, and it is moving in the direction we know. One thing that became well-known in popular culture in the 2000s was the rise of reality TV and other unscripted shows on viewer charts. Of course, there have been such shows before, but popular shows like “Survivor” and “American Idol” have changed the face of television.

Although MTV Freaks is not a competitive show like this, it has the same purpose, enabling MTV to attract a large audience at a relatively low cost. Since then, Johnny Knoxville has appeared in movies and shows. Jackass has become a phenomenon. This happened between 2000 and 2003. Although every previous episode has a disclaimer, it has also affected a generation of young people who are hungry for glory, who do dangerous things to attract the same attention. Jackass became so popular that in 2002, 2006, and 2010, it spawned several derivative works starring different actors, as well as a movie trilogy.

Release Date and streaming Details:

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has caused a delay in many releases earlier as well. The release date was rescheduled from April 2021 to October 2021 by Paramount Pictures.

The final statement of streaming debut is yet to be made; potentially, it will be streaming on Paramount+ after 45 days of releasing theatrically.
