Invincibile Season 2: What Will Come Next? You Should Know Before Watching

Invincible Season 1

Don’t miss the new episode of Invincible season 2 on Netflix! We know what happens in Season 1, but we don’t know what will happen next. Will they be able to capture The Spider? What about Viltrumite-kind? Here are some predictions for you to enjoy before watching the show!

The content is about predicting what might happen in season 2.

What is season one about?

The debut season of Amazon Prime Video’s superhero series follows a high schooler who has to deal with being both invisible and invincible!

First prediction:

The Spider might be killed by an explosion. – Viltrumites will invade Earth and take it over in a matter of weeks or months, but they are stopped by the Guardians of Insuracity, who have an army that is much larger than them.

Invincible season 2 release date: 2022?

There’s no confirmed release date for Invincible season 2. However, we suspect that Amazon will want to exploit its popularity and get to work on it as quickly as it can

Invincible season 2 was only announced on April 29, so it’s unlikely that any major work will have begun just yet. Kirkman and the series’ executive team may have had discussions on what plot points to build the next season around (more on this later) but, from animation, art, script, and voice actor perspectives, we don’t think much will have been done.

That said, sometimes animated shows get an early renewal behind the scenes because of the long turnaround it takes to make further episodes, so it may be further along than we think.

About the new season?

The next season of Invincible will likely take the show in a new direction.  At the end of Season One, we saw Mark Grayson (the main protagonist) and his family move from New York City to Los Angeles following an attack on their home by The Viltrumite Empire – Earth’s most powerful alien race. We suspect that this will continue into Season Two with some major storylines coming out as a result, including how Mark’s superhero status is handled outside of New York; what happens when he finally meets up with his long-lost dad Omni-Man again after being separated for so many years? And just who else might be living in LA besides Mark?

Given there are five more graphic novels yet to come, the next season will likely pick up from where we see Mark and his family in LA.  But it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll keep fighting as Invincible, given his new surroundings are a lot different than what he knew before – which means there may be some changes coming down the pipeline with regards to how our protagonist’s powers work too!

How many episodes will be there?

The first season of Invincible had six episodes, but since this show has been renewed for another two seasons on Amazon Prime Video (with 20 episodes each), you can expect an increase in content going forward. That said, don’t expect anything like The Walking Dead or Game Of Thrones: these shows offer shorter episode count periods per season because they’re geared towards adults, while Invincible is geared more towards children.

What time should we expect Season two to come out?

It’s hard to say for sure when the second season will air – and it’ll almost certainly be a long wait given that Amazon Prime Video shows take up to three months before they’re aired following their release on international streaming platforms, so you can assume there won’t be any new episodes until September at the earliest (though this date could change). Show creators have said in interviews that there are “plans” for both seasons of Invincible going into production soon, but again: even if these plans go ahead as expected, don’t hold your breath waiting too long!

Will there be any superheroes from other comic books?

Don’t hold your breath waiting for appearances from Spider-Man or Superman – but if you’re not too attached to watching Marvel/DC characters exclusively, then keep an eye out in Season Two for some cameos by lesser-known heroes like Captain Atom (whose powers involve nuclear energy) and Booster Gold (who can travel through time).
