Spider-Man: No Way Home Cast Details And More

Spider Man No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a Marvel movie that will be released on December 17, 2021. The cast for this film includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Zendaya as Michelle Jones, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio.

This article provides the cast details for Spider-Man no way home.

All About The Cast:

Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man: A teenager and Avenger who received spider-like abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Holland said the adjustment back to portraying Peter Parker, including raising his voice pitch and returning to the mindset of a “naive, charming teenager,” was strange for him after taking on more mature roles such as in Cherry (2021).

Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds: Parker’s best friend. Batalon lost 102 pounds (46 kg) for his role in this film.

Marisa Tomei as May Parker: Parker’s aunt.

Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon / Electro: An electrical tradesman who gains electric powers after an accident. Foxx reprises his role from Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Unlike that appearance, he will not be depicted as blue for this film.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange: A neurosurgeon who became a Master of the Mystic Arts following a career-ending car accident. Strange takes on the mentor role for Parker filled by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

Alfred Molina as Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus: A scientist from an alternative reality with four artificially intelligent mechanical tentacles fused to his body after an accident. Molina reprises his role from Sony’s Spider-Man 2 (2004), with this appearance continuing from the character’s story and apparent death in that film. Molina was surprised by this approach because he had aged in the years since he made that film and no longer had the same physicality; digital de-aging was used to make Molina appear as he had in Spider-Man 2

Also, the reprising roles: Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson, Parker’s student and rival; Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, Parker’s classmate and Leeds’ ex-girlfriend; and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson, Midtown School of Science and Technology’s gym teacher reprise their roles from previous MCU Spider-Man films. Holland’s brother Harry also makes a cameo appearance as a heroin dealer, following his performance in Cherry.

Release Date and Other Details:

The movie is expected to be released on December 17, 2021. The filming occurred from October 14 to 16, 2020, in New York City under the working title of Serenity Now. It captured the establishing shots and visual effects.

It was previously scheduled to be released on July 16, 2021, further pushed to November 5, 2021. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is now re-scheduled to be released on December 17, 2021.

The movie will be streamed on OTT apps such as Disney+ and Hulu, as Sony signed a deal with Disney.

No Way Home will be the final movie for Tom Holland under his contract with Marvel and Sony. This might be the last time fans will be watching Tom Holland as Spiderman. Hopefully, he’ll be playing spiderman in the future if asked.

No Way Home has a runtime 147 minutes long or two hours 47 minutes without commercials, so there should be plenty of time for fans who want to see what happens next between Peter Parker and Miles Morales when they are finally reunited on screen!

Fans can’t wait to find out how Spider-Man will end while the reviews have been mixed. Some people might likely be disappointed with Marvel Studios’ handling of this movie. Still, I’m looking forward to seeing more Tom Holland as Spiderman in future movies if possible.
