In these first few episodes, we see what happened next after last year when Rue became addicted to drugs following the death of his sister while dealing with grief from his mother’s terminal cancer diagnosis. We also get more insight into how depression works through Nate who starts using again after he loses control over himself due to PTSD from the shooting.

The Euphoria cast has also been busy with new projects outside of the show, especially Zendaya who is set to star in The Greatest Showman sequel alongside Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman! This will be her first major role since she joined the Disney family as a lead actress for their live-action remake of A Wrinkle In Time.

The show has been met with mixed reviews but so far people seem mostly positive about it. I personally think that even though there have not been any big twists or surprises yet, we can still expect some intense storylines from here onwards which might make us forget all the criticism The Handmaids Tale received during its first season.
